Temple Prasadam Policy
Guidelines regarding the preparation, offering, and distribution of food (Prasadam) within the temple premises to ensure sanctity, health, and safety.
General Policy on Outside Food
To strictly adhere to health department regulations and liability insurance requirements, food prepared outside the temple premises (including home-cooked food) is NOT permitted to be served or distributed to the public .
All Prasadam must be prepared inside the temple kitchen under supervision following strict sanitary guidelines.
β Allowed Offerings
Devotees may bring the following items for Naivedyam:
- β Whole Fresh Fruits (washed)
- β Dry Fruits & Nuts (sealed preferred)
- β Whole Coconuts
- β Raw Ingredients (Rice, Dal, Sugar, Jaggery, Ghee)
β Strictly Prohibited
For safety and compliance, the following are not permitted:
- β Cooked food from home
- β External caterer food (unless pre-approved)
- β Cut fruits or open containers
- β Non-vegetarian, eggs, alcohol
Prasadam for Sponsored Sevas
Sponsors of special poojas may request temple-prepared Prasadam for distribution to guests.
- Minimum 1 week advance notice required
- Donation towards preparation cost applies
- Sattvic menu (no onion, no garlic)
